Sheridans Ride

Sheridan's Ride

  • Description
Sheridan's Ride is a simulation of the battle of Cedar Creek, fought on October 19, 1864, between the Union Army of the Shenandoah under Lt. Gen. Philip Sheridan, and a Confederate Army under Lt. Gen. Jubal Early. The map represents the terrain around Middleton, Va., where the battle was fought, and the counters represent the infantry, cavalry, and artillery units which were engaged. Each hex on the map represents roughly 400 yards of actual terrain, each turn represents one hour of the battle, and each strength point represents 75 to 150 soldiers.' - BoardGameGeek
